They can be widely utilized in various organic synthetic chemical reactions. As practical synthetic reagents or intermediates, it has now attracted attention. In order to show that the status of NHC-boranes in organic synthesis cannot be ignored, this article reviews the structural characteristics, preparation methods and typical chemical reactions of NHC-boranes.
