To solve this problem, the adaptability of four common operating range models of infrared detection system are analyzed. Using theoretical and simulation analysis, the defects of traditional model, NETD based model and SNR based model in practical application are pointed out, and the model based on NEP is selected as the operating range evaluation model of airborne infrared detection system. Applicability analysis of operating range model of airborne infrared detection system
