摘要

在更少的物理服务器上部署整合虚拟机(virtual machine,简称VM)是降低数据中心能耗的有效途径。然而,虚拟机通常具有内在的依赖性,这会在底层物理服务器之间带来复杂的负载交互。不合理的迁移会导致网络性能下降。本文以节能为目标,提出了一种基于应用感知的虚拟机整合策略。此外,为了保证迁移后的虚拟机能够有效地分配到由应用感知策略决定的物理服务器上,我们还提出了一种多维资源分配算法(MDRA)。实验结果表明,提出的应用感知策略能够有效降低网络能耗,提高网络性能。所提出的MDRA算法可以保证策略的有效性。
