Model of Effective Color Image Coding Taking into Account the Peculiarities of Colorimetry System
In the modern world, image transmission, including the transmission of television and video signals, is carried out using a preliminary and restorative correction according to the law, which was caused by the use of imaging devices on cathode-ray tubes. If we take into account the presence of several video transmission channels, for example, three for color television or more for spectral systems, then even for the first case, several color models are used for signal transmission, for example, RGB or YCrCb. At the same time, on the one hand, in the R, G, and B channels, gamma correction is not optimal from the point of minimizing the number of quantization levels when visually monitoring the image, and on the other hand, it is known that these models are not equal-contrast, a change in, for example, a color tone or saturation by a certain amount will be noticeably differently depending on the choice of the initial values of the coordinates of the selected color.
