Thus, the researcher wanted to see the differences or similarities between these media in reporting baby stories. The researcher followed Labov and Waletzky 's theory (LW) to understand narrative. This theory breaks narratives down into five distinctive building blocks: Orientation, Complication, Evaluation, Resolution and CODA. However in this paper we presented the result of Orientation only. It is the first and the main part of narrative.
