Objective: A literature review research was implemented to review the published studies that reported relationships between occupational noise and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). Materials and Methods: Three databases were searched. A total of eight articles were identified and included. Results: The results show that noise exposure and high noise levels were associated with an increased CVDs. Additionally, some environmental factors such as temperature imbalance, job strain as well as other social and individual risk factors influence the risk of CVDs. Conclusion: Evidence shows that occupational noise is a prominent risk factor for CVDs.
