GER: GRUPO DE ESTUDOS EM ROBÓTICA, MULTIPLICANDO CONHECIMENTOS NAS ESCOLAS ESTADUAIS DE PORTO ALEGRE

The present report presents the experience of the GER, a Study Group for the application of Free Robotics in the state schools of the Rio Grande do Sul Network, in the city of Porto Alegre, its origin, the adopted methodology and the results achieved, with the purpose of increasing and multiply the experience of aligning pedagogical practice with the contemporary moment. According to the Constructivist Theory, robotics can contribute significantly to educational processes, offering elements for understanding, problem solving and production of tangible objects, representative of learning, as in the specific case, robots. With this experience, we hope to contribute to the renewal of teaching methods. Resumo. O presente relato apresenta a experiência do GER, Grupo de Estudos para a aplicação da Robótica Educativa Livre nas escolas estaduais da Rede do Rio Grande do Sul, na cidade de Porto Alegre, sua origem, a metodologia adotada e os resultados alcançados, com a finalidade de ampliar e multiplicar a experiência de alinhar a prática pedagógica com o momento contemporâneo. De acordo com a Teoria Construcionista, a robótica pode colaborar significativamente para os processos educacionais, oferecendo elementos para a compreensão, resolução de problemas e produção de objetos tangíveis, representativos da aprendizagem, como no caso específico, os robôs. Com essa experiência, espera-se contribuir para a renovação dos métodos de ensino.
