In what follows a simple radiotracer method for testing of surfaces is described. The surfaces are puttied to fill the unevenesses und damages. The filling putty consists of a commercially available binder and a loading material and is labelled with 99mTc or 113mIn. The counting rales of reference and testing samples are measured and a value of the relative surface finish can be calculated. The method is adapted for the testing of surfaces of all varieties.
