The sensors can communicate data with each other with the help of internet connectivity. This paper focuses on safe kitchens in smart homes using IoT. In terms of safety in the household gas connections, a regulator and LPG stove are provided in which knobs control the flow. Gas leakage may be hazardous, especially in closed areas. In these cases, a safety system with a high leakage detection ability is required. In this paper, an IoT-based safety system is proposed, which may reduce accidents caused by electricity during LPG leakage which will automatically cutoff the ac mains if there is any leakage of LPG is detected by the sensor MQ5.
