Profi le records\nof the investigated surfaces indicate the presence of two types of surface deviations from the geometric shape: waviness\nand roughness. At the same time, waviness is not present on all investigated surfaces. For different modes of the laser\ncutting process, the height and spacing parameters of roughness and waviness were determined. It is shown that the parameters\nof surface roughness after gas laser cutting are comparable to those of surfaces after such types of machining\nas turning and milling.
