A Revised Service Group Model for Web Service Availability Management
To predict and improve the real-time availability of the web services fetched by the discovery agents, a revised service group model is proposed. This model benefits from the specification of WS-Service Group and revises it by keeping an available service entry list to cater for the need of service availability management under the function-replaceable service clustering infrastructure. The service matching asymmetry is also represented in the model. The system framework which enables fault-tolerant and dynamic service invocation is also introduced to put the model in the right perspective. Compared to other related work, our proposal is particularly suited for the scenarios where the clients are not responsible for re-locating the services after they have referred to the sort policy.
