In this paper we present description of preparation and results of measurements of optical and spectral property of optical fiber from silica glass, which was doped with erbium in core (erbium doped fiber-EDF). This is optical fiber about absorption and issue curves shifted in direction of longer waves with comparison to standard EDF uses for construction of EDFA on band C.
