The corporate character in innovation plays an important role, and understanding the inherent relationship between organizational character and innovation can help enterprises achieve their performance. Therefore, this paper takes 185 listed companies of 2014–2016 years of high-tech industry as the sample, and studies the relationship between characteristic portfolios and innovation exploratory using financial and governance data, and meanwhile verifies that organizations can cultivate its own character traits from four aspects: organizational orientation, sound consciousness, internal decision-making and external perception.
