It does so by the use of inter pretative methodology towards the presence and the representations of three main ideological topics, i.e.: the neoliberal ideology, postcolonial hegemony and the feminist critique. These three ideologi cal fields shape together the meaningful dimension, which in the case of each part of the series and other related popcultural forms is characterized by a high level of complexity. The main area of the symbolic anchoring and the point of reference for the motivations of the main characters, trajectories of side narratives, as well the diachronic structure of the series remains the futuristic corporation Weyland-Yutani. It is a large complex and the source of economic pressure in a world in which profit becomes the leading imperative and it is gained above the registry of morals and life of the crew of the Nostromo ship.
