Subsequently, her X ray studies showed a radiolucenly in the liver, with calcified solitary-hepatic cyst. A review is made of the pertinent literature, and it is stressed the diagnostic clues between a congenital and a parasitic hepatic cyst, in order to proceed to its proper therapy.
