Each linear motor of the control system is independent. Therefore, the position loop of control system is easier to be disturbed. This paper presents a 2DOF PID controller to position loop for dual linear motor cooperative control system so that the two groups of parameters can be adjusted independently. The simulation result shows that the system has a strong robust and also has a good anti-disturbance performance and setting value tracking ability which has a good application prospects. Disturbance suppression research in parallel dual permanent synchronous linear motors based on 2DOF PID controller
