Two-dimensional curved-surface metamaterial structure in THz frequency band
In this paper, a dual-band metamaterial structure (MS) based on a two-dimensional (2D) curved-surface substrate is simulated working in THz band. The simulated results showed some novel properties compared to the conventional planar MA. The curved-surface MS appeared two resonant frequencies at 9.63 THz and 11.27 THz. With the transmissivity zero and the reflectivity approaching to zero, the incident plane wave is partly polarization converted and partly absorbed.
