Through this paper an attempt has been taken to discuss the solar resource available in India and the potentials related to solar energy has to be discovered. One detail case study on solar power uses has been given, the problem related to solar power application has been highlighted and finally the future aspect in India on solar power has been mentioned. India collects good annual solar emission although having several climatic zones.
