A relação entre o parcelamento de compras com cartão de crédito e a gestão do orçamento pessoal

In Brazil, the credit card is gradually displacing other forms of payment on the retail market, including its use for installment payments. This study aims to investigate the relationship between credit card installment payment plans and personal budget management. The research occurred through an online questionnaire to be answered by 664 credit card holders, over 18 years old Brazilian residents. Installment payments with credit cards habits, budget management (revenues and expenses) and default situations on the credit card were investigated. The results point to a positive relationship between personal budget management and preference for credit card installment payment plans.
