At low mass flow rates different instabilities can occur from which the most dangerous is surge. In contest to conventional passive surge avoidance systems which work with reduced efficiency and have limitations up to date surge suppression systems offer broader operating range and excellent dynamics. The aim of this paper is to develop and simulate linear quadratic regulator for BLDC controlled compressor.
