Disruption era is marked by the emergence of various forms of new innovation products which eventually interrupt the long-existed ones. It also happens in the gaming world characterized by the emergence of online gaming products. The presence of online gaming has formed a community of generation Z which consists of various backgrounds of family, religion, ethnicity, and culture. Thus, Generation Z can gather and socialize in a community and build networks with others. This study was aimed to describe how great the influence of the online gaming community was to the multicultural education of generation Z and what the related factors are. A mixed method was used in this study. 摘要

. 颠覆时代的标志是各种形式的新创新产品的出现,最终打破了长期存在的产品。这种情况也发生在以网络游戏产品的出现为特征的游戏世界中。网络游戏的存在形成了一个由不同家庭、宗教、种族和文化背景组成的Z世代社区。因此,Z世代可以在社区中聚集和社交,并与其他人建立网络。本研究旨在描述网络游戏社区对Z世代多元文化教育的影响有多大,以及相关因素是什么。本研究采用混合方法。结果表明,网络游戏社区的变量对Z世代多元文化教育存在显著的影响,这是由几个因素造成的,即:网络游戏社区影响了Z世代多元文化宽容态度的出现;网络游戏能够提供一个富有想象力的虚拟空间;网络游戏为用户创造了一个独立的社交系统;网络游戏作为新文化;网络游戏成为理解多元文化教育、虚拟空间的团结原则、新的学习体验、多元文化视角下的社会叙事的入口。
