Measurement of the optical properties of nails
We have measured the scattering and the absorption coefficients of nails at wavelengths from 800 to 1900 nm by the combination of integrating sphere measurements and an inverse Monte Carlo method. Also the dependences of these coefficients on surface roughness and humidity were investigated.
