Blockchain adoption in supply chain finance: a research model for empirical investigation in the electricity industry

The purpose of this study is to study the behavioral intentions and influencing factors of blockchain adoption in the context of supply chain finance in the electricity industry. We propose a new model by drawing on the strength of the UTAUT model's ability to identify individual behavioral factors in organizations and the TOE framework's ability to identify external influences on organizations. This paper is empirically validated by distributing a questionnaire to employees of companies in the electric industry. This study will provide theoretical and practical contributions to the adoption of blockchain technology in electricity industry.
