It proposes a very fast and robust algorithm to identify and measure PQ disturbances. The capability of this algorithm to recognize and measure disturbances in both time and frequency domains will assist in precise disturbance localization and detection. Many case studies considered here, containing voltage swell, voltage sag, harmonics, interharmonics, transients, voltage changes with multiple frequencies, voltage fluctuation, or flicker and voltage disrupt will be investigated comprehensively by using this new time-frequency analysis method.
