SARS-COV-2 WITH PROBABLE ANTI-NMDA RECEPTOR ENCEPHALITIS WITH MIS-C: A CASE REPORT

COVID-19 disease is caused by a novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and typically causes respiratory symptoms. However, with increasing cases SARS-CoV-2 infection has been shown to be associated with dysregulated and persistent inflammatory reactions and production of some antibodies hence multi organ involvement is seen. We present a 12-year-old boy who had no pulmonary symptoms and presented with the complaints of fever and behavioral changes with examination and investigation findings suggestive of Covid 19 infection with probable Anti-NMDAR encephalitis with MIS-C.
