Reality and consequence caused by bombs and mines which United States used during Vietnam War in Quang Tri Province (1965-1973)

During Vietnam War (1954-1975), the US imperialists mobilized enormous economic and military potentials, including both conventional weapons and newly invented weapons which were improved in the most modern manner. In Quang Tri Province, due to its strategically important position, the US imperialists and the Government of the Republic of Vietnam arranged a large military forces, used the most modern weapons, a large number of bombs and mines, together with many fierce attacks that made Quang Tri to become a place suffering from the most serious consequences of bombs and mines during the war. The article focuses on clarifying the actual use of bombs and mines in Quang Tri Province by US during the war from 1965 to 1973; accordingly giving comments on economic, material, human and environmental consequences that Quang Tri has suffered.
