Multisession Radiosurgery for Large Glomus Jugulare Tumors in and Around Jugular Foramen
There are two cases of large glomus jugulare tumors growing in and around jugular foramen, and they were successfully treated with multi- session gamma knife treatments. The tumors demonstrated remarkable shrinkage without any neurological deterioration and serious adverse effects. Since the surgical procedure may associate serious complications often, stereotactic radiosurgery seems to be a promising option.
