In comparison with various algorithms used for the identification of water buffaloes, Local Binary Patterns Histograms (LBPH) shows more accurate results compared to other algorithms such as Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Linear Discriminant Analysis with Support Vector Machine (LDA+SVM) and LDA alone.
