In this study, we administered online blogging sessions (using Google blogger) in a class of first year engineering undergraduates for the Introduction to Programming course. We investigate how does this intervention, in addition to traditional classroom lectures, affects students' learning outcomes, and their perception of learning, motivation and engagement.
