X-ray spectral analysis, infrared spectroscopy, metallography and atomic force microscopy were used to study the surface characteristics of the coatings obtained. In the work, the dependence of the surface characteristics on the concentration of alkali and voltage was established. The mechanism of the process of applying a protective coating to the surface of aluminum is proposed.
