The article is devoted to the results of a passenger traffic survey conducted on route 28 in Bryansk. The current situation with the used passenger rolling stock, the route network of Bryansk, and directions for improving urban passenger transport are considered. A detailed description of the surveyed route No. 28 is given, data on passenger traffic is provided, and the carrier's compli-ance with the recommended traffic intervals is analyzed. Recommendations for improving the or-ganization of passenger transport are given.

The concept of Vizion Zero is considered - a long-term program first proposed by the Swedish government, the main goal of which is to improve road safety and reads as follows: «No one should be killed or seriously injured in a traffic accident». A brief overview of the implementation of this concept in some world countries has been carried out. including the Russian Federation and identified promising national vectors for its further implementation in order to increase the level of road safety and the desire to reduce the number of accidents on the road to a minimum value.

In the process of making management decisions in order to improve the efficiency of enterprises, decision makers often resort to evaluating various conditions, equipment, routes, development strategies, etc. using methods for choosing alternatives under conditions of uncertainty. This article proposes an alternative approach to the existing one, applicable to many existing decision methods, capable of taking into account parameters with fixed reference values and minimum reference values. The algorithm of the proposed approach is demonstrated on the example of the choice of a vehicle.

Currently, three-lane traffic circles are widely used in cities of the Russian Federation. At the same time there are no methods for calculation of the capacity of such traffic circles, taking into account the peculiarities of traffic modes in urban conditions. The paper presents substantiation of development of a model for estimation of capacity of multilane roundabouts based on the conflict points. The development of such a model will allow to carry out a comparative analysis of the efficiency of multilane roundabouts with signalized roundabouts and turbo-roundabouts.

Based on the simulation results, quantitative assessments of the risks of reduced functionality for the basic segments of the road network of the Magadan region were obtained.In the presence of sandy soil at the base of the highway, the climatic risks of warming up to 2 degrees are low and are at the level of 150 points (with the maximum possible risk of 1000 points).In the presence of clay soils with high humidity, climatic risks in the continental part of the region are predicted to be up to 250 points, and in the coastal zone may exceed 400 points.

The authors of the article suggest using personal transport to perform public transport tasks for settlements, which are remote from the main transport. As rule, there are one or two bus trip per week in these settlements and the consumer quality of passenger service in most cases is poorly satisfactory. The article considers the foreign experience of organizing joint trips on low-intensity routes. The article describes the aspects of basing the concept of a new transport product and identifies areas for further scientific research.

Across the entire territory of the Rostov agglomeration, a survey of regulated pedestrian crossings was carried out, field surveys of the intensity of pedestrian traffic at regulated pedestrian crossings were carried out in order to identify places of concentration of maximum pedestrian flows for the development of an intelligent transport system (ITS), to reduce conflict situations at city intersections, and a geoinformation base was developed.

A method for assessing the psychoemotional state of a car driver is proposed based on monitoring his actions according to the following six indicators: longitudinal, lateral and vertical accelerations, exceeding the speed limit, smoking the driver and his conversations distracting from tracking traffic safety. As an evaluation parameter, the coefficient of psychoemotional reliability of the driver is proposed, which provides information about the output of controlled indicators for the constants of the established values when the driver's actions cause a threat to traffic safety. A constructive scheme of the device is proposed that collects and processes information on the speci-fied indicators of the driver's actions with the issuance of a warning signal to him or the controlling entity about the occurrence of danger when the driver continues to work in the previous mode.

The work of motor grader at traction mode by the action of simmetrical external longitudal load on the blade is consided. Using the desing scheme, evaluations of the irregularity of vertical reac-tions on the weels were obtained for the case of maximum traction and for the case of bracking on a roads with hard cover for motor graders with different design of bogies with balancers. The effect of using bogies with fully equilibrated balancers for some models of motor graders is evaluated.
