According to results, there was a significant and inverse correlation among academic cynicism and academic achievement (r = -0.195). The mean rank of academic cynicism was significantly higher among MD students (P = 0.001) and dentistry (P = 0.008). Conclusions: Students received more than half of the possible score for academic cynicism, which was significant and inversely affected academic achievement.
