As a consequences of the cost involved in mold manufacture is very expensive, trial-and-error experimentation in the design of the mold is not economical. To permeate this problem, the used of CAD/CAE application assisted in design and establish the most optimal mold gating system. This research was conducted by implementing the use of CAD/CAE tools to produce an optimal mold gating design using CATIA and MOLDFLOW applications. 摘要

在塑料注射模具的开发中,设计师的目标是实现最佳的模具设计,使每个周期的材料浪费和时间最少,同时生产出没有缺陷和瑕疵的产品。为了设计模具,设计师可以通过操纵零件的形状以及流道和浇口的位置来改变模具设计。由于模具制造所涉及的成本非常昂贵,因此在模具设计中进行反复试验是不经济的。为了解决这一问题,利用CAD/CAE软件辅助设计并建立了最优的模具浇注系统。本研究是通过实施使用CAD/CAE工具,使用CATIA和MOLDFLOW应用程序产生最佳模具浇注设计来进行的。该应用极大地帮助设计者在生产缺陷少、时间周期快、最重要的是降低制造成本的汽车塑料件时,确定最佳浇注位置的模具。
