Webtoon short story was one of the alternative media used by teachers during covid-19. This paper discusses the findings of a study carried out to investigate the students’ perception on webtoon short story in English classroom. The focus of this article was on students’ point of view, students’ manners and the students’ thought in applying webtoon short story in English class. The sample was taken from three Senior High School in Pekanbaru at the grade eleventh. Questionnaire and interview were used to get the data.
