To make supporting beam of segment erector have sufficient strength and stiffness, the paper established in a three-dimensional model of segment erector using SOLIDWORKS. The model were imported in ANSYS, and simulated in the two extreme working conditions. The stress and displacement contours were obtained, and it is shown that the stress and displacement are more than criterion. After the height of supporting beam are increased by 500mm, and the thickness of supporting beam are increased by 10mm, stress is reduced by 30%, the displacement is reduced by 21%.
