Study on the Performance of SY-01 Satellite Gamma-Ray Detector
The New Space Technology Test Satellite (SY-01) is scheduled to carry out its first flight with a Chinese aerospace rocket, carrying multiple payloads to carry out space scientific exploration missions. SY-01 can carry multiple payloads to carry out space exploration missions. Among them, the High Energy Burst Researcher (HEBS) is one of the important payloads on the satellite. It will monitor the high-energy electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events throughout the day and discover large samples of gamma-ray bursts. This paper mainly introduces the ground test experiment of the HEBS payload gamma-ray detector (GRD) and studies energy resolution and energy linearity in the range of (38–80)keV. The test results show that the GRD has good performance in the low-energy region, which can meet the requirements of monitoring gravitational wave gamma-ray bursts on-orbit.
