What are common international requirements for journal articles is therefore an essential subject of research, and the analysis in this paper from Systemic Functional Linguistics perspective is one of such attempts. A total of 50 articles randomly selected from 10 Scopus-indexed journals on finance and finance-related fields published in English are analyzed in order to answer the following specific questions: (1) what types of process and mood are used in English journal articles on finance?, and (2) what are they used for? 摘要
越南作者撰写的期刊文章因其不足而受到强烈批评，其中之一是未能符合国际要求(State Council for professors, 2016-2017)。因此，国际上对期刊文章的共同要求是一个重要的研究课题，本文从系统功能语言学的角度进行分析就是这样的尝试之一。本文从10种scopus检索的金融及金融相关领域的英文期刊中随机抽取50篇文章进行分析，以回答以下具体问题:(1)金融英文期刊文章中使用了哪些类型的过程和情绪?(2)它们的用途是什么?这种对英语金融期刊文章的过程和情绪及其功能的关键知识将有助于越南作者提高其国际出版文章的质量。
