This rapid development has resulted in progress of advanced techniques in field of life sciences and medicine leading to healthier environment to live in. But this adversely has drawback of increasing the population of older class of people who require much more sophisticated environment. In order to overcome this problem the Wireless Body Sensor Networks (WBSNs) are used. A WBSN is a system which plays critical role in managing health issues of aged population group, busy people or the young children who require assistance. The patient cannot be expected to stay at same place for longer duration of time. The patients are assumed to be similar to mobile nodes. To bring about an effective communication between these mobile nodes, there is a need for design of routing protocol suitable for WBSN. Further design of routing protocol is done by taking into consideration characteristics of bandwidth, power utilized, energy and several other factors. 摘要

世界人口在全球范围内急剧增长。这一快速发展导致了生命科学和医学领域先进技术的进步,带来了更健康的生活环境。但这也有不利的缺点,增加了老年人的数量,他们需要更复杂的环境。为了克服这一问题,采用了无线身体传感器网络(WBSNs)。世界健康服务网络是一个在管理需要帮助的老年人口群体、忙碌人群或幼儿的健康问题方面发挥关键作用的系统。不能指望病人在同一个地方呆更长的时间。假设患者与移动节点相似。为了实现这些移动节点之间的有效通信,需要设计适合WBSN的路由协议。在进一步设计路由协议时,考虑了带宽、功耗、能量等因素的特点。提出的工作对WBSN中现有的路由协议及其优缺点进行了详细的回顾,从而为开发更有效的WBSN路由协议提供了一个平台。
