摘要

近年来,特别是次贷危机爆发以来,高管薪酬问题不仅成为公众关注的焦点,而且成为学术界争论的焦点。本文以2000 - 2007年791家中国上市公司为样本,对薪酬差距的影响因素进行了实证研究。结果表明,薪酬差距与晋升概率呈显著负相关。之后,本文以2003 - 2007年878家中国上市公司为样本,对薪酬差距与公司绩效之间的关系进行了实证研究。我们的研究结果支持锦标赛激励理论,该理论表明薪酬差距与公司绩效之间存在显著的正相关关系。
