A survey methodology has been used to identify customer's perspective towards e-commerce and also to comprehend various difficulties faced by the customers during internet shopping. The paper discusses the status of e-commerce in India, its trends, barriers in its growth and also the effective ways to overcome such glitches. The paper also discusses the latest technological development in e-commerce industry. By using these technologies one can give competitive advantage to one's business.
