To stabilize the DC bus voltage, as well as improve the reliability and quality of power supply of distributed power system, the flywheel energy storage system is connected to the distributed power system. By control of the charge and discharge of flywheel, voltage of the DC bus can remain stable. Besides, design of the control circuit of the flywheel energy storage system and flywheel motor discharge control algorithms and strategies are presented.
