Comparison of the efficacy of the IELS against the previous studies
IELS is a web application that contains a number of elements developed together using the PHP language to form the Interactive Electronic Lecture System (IELS). This paper aims to evaluate the efficacy of the IELS compared to previous studies conducted to enhance and improve the lecturing process. A number of issues were taken into consideration in the comparison such as accessibility, usability, interactivity, learnability, communication, and satisfaction. To check the reliability of these issues factor analysis was conducted. Other issues considered when evaluating the IELS compared to the previous studies included student learning outcomes, their exchange information and their interaction with the lecture content.
