I2R provides a unique opportunity to explore two themed areas of engineering through a combination of faculty guest speakers, lab tours and hands on engineering activities. Each theme will meet once a week for five weeks from 4-6pm. Biosensors: Participants will learn how sensors impact their daily lives, how they're made and how biosensors are influencing the medical field. Alternative Energy: Participants will be introduced to alternative ways of creating energy, how it's generated, and how alternative energy impacts our lives. What are the themes?
