Alternative energy 可替代能源
February 12th—March 12th Thursdays 4pm—6pm Theme dates I2R is a FREE after school engineering program offered through the Women in Engineering Program at Purdue University for 6th-8th grade students. I2R provides a unique opportunity to explore two themed areas of engineering through a combination of faculty guest speakers, lab tours and hands on engineering activities. Each theme will meet once a week for five weeks from 4-6pm. Biosensors: Participants will learn how sensors impact their daily lives, how they're made and how biosensors are influencing the medical field. Alternative Energy: Participants will be introduced to alternative ways of creating energy, how it's generated, and how alternative energy impacts our lives. What are the themes? Registration How to apply?  Fill out an Innovation to Reality online application located at www.purdue.edu/WIEP  Mail in a $10.00 refundable deposit  Receive a confirmation letter from the Women in Engineering Program  Attend themed engineering session and receive deposit refund To educate our youth about the great opportunities in engineering through themed engineering sessions that will demonstrate the engineering innovation required to transform ideas into reality.
