In this paper, interplanetary and geomagnetic data were simultaneously analyzed for the period of the solar cycle 24. The analyses allowed us to determine any teleconnections between the solar wind and geomagnetic activity within the period. Results of the analyses show that solar wind and geomagnetic activity are highly connected at high latitudes but the same cannot be said for mid and low latitudes.
