To overcome the vulnerability of the optic fiber and the low-quality of the video transmission of the other wired unrepeatered video transmission technology, a deep-sea unrepeatered video transmission system over 10 km coaxial tow cable based on SHDSL is presented in this paper. The system is composed of video server, SHDSL modem and transmission medium.
