This study used a qualitative research. One of the qualitative research designs applied in this study was case study design. The participant of this study was one of English teachers at MAN 1 Palembang. The participant of this study was taken from one of the four English teachers at MAN 1 Palembang by using criterion sampling strategy. The data were collected through interview. The data were analyzed and presented descriptively. there are six steps commonly used in analyzing qualitative data, as follows; (1) the researcher have to be familiar with entire body of data (2) generate codes, (3) search for themes (4) review themes (5) define and name themes, and (6) produce the report. 摘要

本研究旨在探讨曼一巨港小学教师在听力教学中所遇到的困难。本研究采用定性研究。本研究中应用的定性研究设计之一是案例研究设计。本研究的参与者是曼一巨港的一名英语教师。本研究的参与者采用标准抽样策略,从MAN 1巨港的四名英语教师中选取一名。数据通过访谈的方式收集。对数据进行了分析和描述。定性数据分析常用的六个步骤如下:(1)研究者必须熟悉整个数据体(2)生成代码,(3)搜索主题(4)审查主题(5)定义和命名主题,(6)生成报告。本研究结果显示,曼一巨港小学教师在听力教学中所面临的困难与以下因素有关:(a)学生的心理因素;(b)学生的背景知识;(c)学生态度;(d)学生词汇量不足;(e)教学辅助工具或媒介;(f)材料;(七)听力教学方法。
