To determine the intervertebral stress, the L4 and L5 vertebras were made by using rapid prototyping. Between the vertebras the intervertebral disc was made by using silicon material. In the intervertebral disc five force sensors were inserted. A STEWART platform was used to remake the vertebra's relative movements during that time with the aid of the five force sensor, the intervertebral stress was recorded.
