Generally Squirrel Cage induction generator (SCIG), Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) and Permanent Magnet Synchronous generator (PMSG) are used in the wind power generating systems. Individual power coefficient is calculated for different tip speed ratio at fixed rotor speed for the above mentioned generators.
