EnglishUniversity is constantly at a difficult crossroads, plagued by doubt and uncertainty. The classical functions of academic institutions must be left behind to move forward towards a more socialrole, closerto citizens, in which university’s socialresponsibility is projected and in which academic institutions aspire to utopia as a goal. This text analyzes one of the current crucial tools: university radio stations. These are heterogeneous radio stations, with different contexts and circumstances, but all clearly alternative in their nature. Their contents are mainly scientific and cultural, which differences them from commercial broadcasters.
